I started seeing results about a week after I started training when the weight started to fall off. My program was a combination of 3 weight training days a week and a comprehensive and detailed diet plan.
You don't just lose weight and gain muscle you also learn a lot, the first thing that hits you is how terrible you were training before, form and technique matters, reps for the sake of reps not so much. Most importantly in my mind you learn a lot about nutrition and what works for you and your body.
This isn't your regular 'I'm gonna spend some time at the gym with a trainer to quiet my guilt' kind of place, you will work very hard and he will push you well beyond what you think your limits are and the results will follow shortly after.
It's not a question of if he can get you where you want to be (there are hundreds of transformations, literally) it's a question of how much are you willing to commit to this process, like my trainer Eric always told me 'you get out of it what you put into it' and I couldn't agree more.
